worked fine for an 1 1/2 inch kitchen drain that was severely plugged. Plumbing install Pipe route was really poor (negative pitch, to many bends) so getting down took a little time. 1 1/2 inch line dumped into a 2 inch line, and then to a 3 inch. was able to get all 50 feet in and see the cable at cleanout.

The 4" line between the house and septic clogged. t was able to work this through a clean-out out to the tank. It was able to go in from the tank and broke up what appeared to be hardened joint compound. I did get a link in the snake but it still works well. I do not like the all or none trigger.

I bought this a few years ago and have used it several times to clear blockages. There was one in the laundry line that defeated a couple of plumbers but I was able to clear it with this. When you consider the cost of calling out a plumber, pipe snakes like this are a worthwhile investment.

This is assembled nearly ready to go. My box had the cutting bits fallen allover - the sharp edges apparently cut the bag up during transit. I thought at first it was a return (BTW returns not allowed due to likely the sanitary aspect of product), but the finish of the bits and unit were new.

It's simple and it cuts through the job. This unit does not have the fancy buttons or sleek lines, it just does what you want it to do and is well built.
